Finding friends in St. Pete shouldn't be hard.

We've simplified the process of meeting new people. From casual coffee chats to vibrant social nights, here is how you get started.

Three simple steps to community

Step 1

Join the Facebook Group

Our private Facebook group is where the magic happens. It's a safe, moderated space where all official events are posted and members coordinate meetups.

Step 2

RSVP to an Event

Browse the events tab in the group. Whether it's a Sunday brunch, a pier walk, or trivia night, find something that catches your eye and click 'Going'.

Step 3

Show Up & Meet Up

Head to the location at the scheduled time. Look for the 'St Pete Friends' sign or the event host. Relax, smile, and start making memories.

What to expect at your first meetup

New groups can be intimidating, but we've built this community to be the friendliest in the Burg. Here's the lowdown on your first visit.

Solo is totally normal

90% of our members show up to their first event alone. You aren't 'the new person'—you're just the friend we haven't met yet. Every event is designed to facilitate easy introductions.

Host Support

Every official event has a dedicated host. They'll be there early to greet you and introduce you to others.

Focused Interactions

We prefer quality over quantity. Most meetups are capped or broken into smaller conversation circles so you actually get to talk to people.

Simple Community Rules

To keep our space welcoming, active, and safe for everyone, we ask all members to follow a few simple guidelines:

  1. Be Respectful & Welcoming: Treat everyone with kindness. We are an inclusive group of diverse local residents.
  2. No Commercial Solicitation: We’re here to build friendships, not sell services or pitch multi-level marketing projects. Keep it social.
  3. Manually Vetted Profiles: We vet all Facebook group requests to ensure real profiles and local St. Pete area residency.
  4. Safety & Respect First: Any behavior that makes members feel unsafe or uncomfortable will result in immediate removal from the group.
